WHOEVER STEPPED INSIDE the doors of the former state school in Scania, which dates back to 1911, soon understood that collectors lived there.
“Naturally, there had to be room for dogs and kids,” says Katrin, who shares her interest for design and art with her husband Bengt-Göran, or B-G as he’s known. “It’s good to have an understanding husband. He knows that you have to strike when you get the chance. I usually say that I know what we want.”
Katrin got her passion for furniture and interior decoration during her childhood. As we found out in the last issue, her father was an auctioneer, commissioning the help of the entire family when an auction was due. Katrin was often allowed to pick out objects and act as the cashier.
