De Vreugde Design & Collectables

Jan Willem and Soraya van de Vreugde started their company in 1999 in one of the oldest areas of Amsterdam, the Jordaan district, which at the time, was one of the very first vintage design shops in the Netherlands! This area has become very popular among locals and tourists who visit the many specialised shops, antique dealers and art galleries that can be found there. There are also many bars and restaurants, making it a very lively place to be. Today, De Vreugde Design & Collectables have grown to be an international player in vintage design, with loyal clients from all over the world. They also have a large warehouse in the village of Wilnis, just outside of Amsterdam, where three floors are filled with vintage furniture and lighting.

A big part of the collection can be found on their website, but a visit to the warehouse will definitely be worth while, since their inventory is always expanding and they’re just a 20 minute drive away from Amsterdam and Utrecht, and are open Monday to Saturday.

They also have a great deal of experience with wholesale to dealers worldwide, so feel free to contact them if you’re interested in buying, one or multiple pieces, as they can help arranging shipment by truck or container, all included at an attractive wholesale price!
