The Decorative Antiques & Textile Fair - 9th - 14th April 2019

Next up is the event that gets all the interior designer’s pulses racing; the wonderful Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair held at Battersea Park in London.

A family-owned fair that launched in 1985, the first to specifically unite the antiques and interior design trades. Held three times a year – spring, autumn and winter - anyone who knows about design will have heard of it, and to those who haven’t, it’s the UK’s biggest design fair, which runs for an impressive six days! It attracts those looking for something wonderful that nobody else has, and that’s why you’ll clock a wealth of well-known faces, such as David Beckham, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Guy Ritchie to name but a few.

The next fair will feature more than 150 exhibitors from across the UK and Europe. The regular foyer is always different, and being spring, will no doubt combine our love of bringing the out- doors inside. There will be a wealth of opportunities for interior designers to search out unusual antique and vintage garden ornaments, an important element of the Fair, from statuary, urns and stone planters, to seating and decorative items.

Catering to all tastes, you’ll also find an unparalleled collection of 20th century design, decorative period furniture, unusual accessories from every era, modern art and sculpture, curiosities, toys and collectables. Every stand is decorated to help inspire and de- light visitors. It’s also a photographers dream – if you’ve never been, it’s a wonderful Fair to visit if only to witness the carefully considered juxtaposition of stock on the dealer’s stands!
